As a part of our continuous effort to inculcate good safety practices onsite, C&W implemented a zero-safety incident incentive award program with the following objectives:

• To introduce incentive programs for staff and contractors directly engaged by C&W to increase safety performance as well as to minimise accidents on site and at the workplace; • To recognise site offices, staff and contractors who performed well in safety awareness, performance and operation; • To motivate staff and contractors to drive the importance of safety to all stakeholders.

The three categories of award, each with a scorecard, are for contractors, individual and team excellence in safety. An independent panel of judges selects the awardees using the designed matrix scorecard. Prizes are in the form of cash vouchers. Contractors will receive a letter of commendation and recognition for their good safety performance.
