SUBCONTRACTOR SAFETY INDUCTION AND TRAINING

C&W’s strong safety culture is paramount, and this applies to all subcontractors that are assigned to carry out works on behalf of C&W. Safety induction is carried out to brief all new contractors on the safety house rule and requirements. Safety induction card must be issued to all staff and contractors before commencement of work, after they have been briefed and informed of safety requirements. stringent requirements in relation to health, safety, security, environment and quality. This initiative increases the awareness of contractors to common hazards in the workplace and cultivate a strong safety culture at our managed sites. CASE STUDY: TRAINING TO CONTRACTORS

C&W Services, together with Campaign cleaning agency, met the cleaning crew and conducted safety training covering: • Safety codes • Proper PPE’s needed • Identification of different safety hazards • How to prevent these safety hazards • First Aid Basic Training

Our FM team managing JTC’s industrial properties spearheaded safety training to ground personnel of the cleaning and conservancy team, where as part of the IFM contract, we oversee the estate’s cleanliness and sanitation. The daily activities of the cleaning crew are entwined with several safety hazards such as slips, tripping and fall from height, etc.
