Action Unplug unit and WARM to ambient temperature. Clean the interior chambers/shelves with a neutral cleaner. Rinse with purified water. Dry all surfaces. Allow freezer to come to the operating temperature range. Return contents to their appropriate shelf locations. Document the time and date of cleaning and the cleaning solutions used in the equipment logbook. Use of Refrigerators and Freezers: When transferring material in or out of refrigerators or freezers, document the following information in the equipment logbook: • Material Name • Batch/ID • Time of transfer When performing activities other than the transfer of materials in and out (e.g. cleaning, material inventory, etc.) document the activity and the time in the equipment logbook.
