Case in point: Cushman & Wakefield’s Boston office recently constructed a best-in-class office space that reflects the way employees work, including neurodiverse employees. Cushman & Wakefield’s Workplace strategist, with input from stakeholders and employees, developed a design addressing needs of a multi-generational workforce, centering neurodiverse needs and sensory processing differences. The design resulted in spaces that truly appeal to the overall employee experience and attract diverse talent: > An active recharge area for informal interactions, including a putting green for energy release and a quiet area where employees can be part of the conversation without being part of the action. > Private, quiet areas and closed-door spaces supporting focus and one-on-one conversations, as well as providing noise mitigation. > A quiet recharge area along the window line.
