RATIONALE OF PROPOSAL

By having such sensors, we are shifting from reactive maintenance to preventive maintenance , which could theoretically allow for us to optimise our manpower if we are able to plan around it.

Allow for preventive measures be taken such as tree pruning and soil improvement

Allow for identification of problematic trees to prevent accidents

Allow for monitoring of the health condition of trees

C&W propose to install 20 Tree Tilt Sensors for selected trees across Sentosa Cove. Identified trees will be placed with sensors for monitoring and early detection of tilts.
