facilities and property teams • Provide hand sanitizers and disinfecting products available on site for property and facilities team • Ensure property and facilities staff has been trained on proper use and disposal of PPE equipment, as well as kept up to date on CDC or local authority’s jurisdiction guidelines • Encourage employees to not use each other’s phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment to the extent possible • Clean and disinfect all shared equipment, tools, radios, IT equipment and spaces before and after each shift, and if shared, before and after each use • Encourage employees to practice CDC-recommended hygiene practices, such as: • Wash your hands, often and well, for minimum of 20 seconds • Avoid touching your face, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands • Avoid close contact with people who are sick • Continue to clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched • Stay at home and away from others if you feel ill Resources For Cushman & Wakefield’s recommended list of suppliers for masks, hand sanitizers and disinfectants, please click here. Since buildings may have been shut down with little warning and preparation, a best practice is to thoroughly inspect for any damage or issues caused by the vacancy.
