Tertiary Education Management Conference (TEMC)

I-Suite What does it mean to disrupt the status quo? That was the question we posed our panelists in our second I-Suite event in London, which saw representatives from Fintech, Proptech, and Hosptech. Attendees discussed their experiences of how technology is disrupting their respective sectors.

More than 25 clients from a number of industries and disciplines joined the debate and discussed challenges and opportunities

Cushman & Wakefield recently sponsored TEMC, an Australian-led conference that explores the question of how the higher education sector can create open and innovative systems. The conference helps ideas become reality and serves as a platform where we can expand our professional practice and become leading thinkers in our field. We want to help tertiary institutions define “What’s Next” for their campuses, buildings, teaching, academic, and common spaces. The objective of our sponsorship was to raise visibility of the Cushman & Wakefield brand within the tertiary education sector, demonstrate our capability in the sector, and generate leads for new business from within the tertiary education sector. Eight colleagues attended the three-day conference to demonstrate our capabilities and network with industry bodies to better understand their requirements. Key note speaker, Jon Beale (on behalf of Dylan O’Donnell) discussed how universities and institutions will use space in the future, and how the rise of new spaces such as co-working space and start-up space will change the way university space is used.

technology presents not only in the real estate industry but in the wider sphere. Our clients and colleagues enjoyed networking whilst drawing upon their creative skills to recreate the London skyline using acrylic paints.
