JANICE’S BIRD Blue H eron

We have a lake house in Highland Lakes, NJ and there are two or three blue herons who make the lake their home. They are peaceful and majestic with a large wingspan.

We love kayaking around the lake and spotting them hanging out on large rocks in the middle of the lake.
