This site was a vacant Sweetbay located on Hillsborough Ave. It was purchased by Harrod Properties in 2015 and subsequently leased to multiple healthcare providers. Harrod properties sold the building in March 2017 for $21,100,000.00 or $377 psf to Healthcare Trust of America (HTA) based out of Scottsdale, AZ. This buyer has been very active in Tampa with another portfolio purchase of $47,000,000.00 in June 2017. This is a very good example of the evolution of healthcare real estate across the country. Many providers are looking for the large blocks of space that allow their patents easy access to central locations on major thorough fares.

The healthcare market will continue to increase as demand continues to surge and supply continues to be constrained.
