TAMPA, FL 33612 Established in 1986, Moffitt Cancer Center, a 206-bed full service, not-for-profit hospital, supports a team of doctors, scientists, and staff who remain focused on a common goal - the prevention, care, and cure of cancer through education and research. Moffitt Cancer Center is home to “the Southeast’s largest Blood and Marrow Transplant Program”. Its outpatient treatment program alone cares for 328,000+ visitors a year. Their network of facilities includes the Moffitt Research Center, Vincent A. Stabile Research Building, Muriel Rothman Building (Moffitt Clinic Building), South Expansion, M2Gen, Lifetime Cancer Screening & Prevention Center, Moffitt Business Center, Moffitt Foundation, Moffitt Cancer Center at International Plaza, and Child Development Center. The Benjamin Mendick Hope Lodge, owned and operated by the American Cancer Society, is also located on the campus of the Moffitt Cancer Center and provides a housing alternative, at no cost, to patients who are being treated at the hospital.
