The European market is maturing and polarizing, favoring prime assets and locations, with greater demand to lease than buy and more awareness of what is “best in class.” This definition of “best” is evolving, in terms of location, with in- and out-of town locations, as well as newly developing clusters, and in terms of function. There is growing recognition that the ecosystem needs a range of space types to support businesses at different stages, including R&D, testing, production, storage and administration.
