LSAG Legal Briefs - Vol 2

Francisco in June 2019. The event was hosted on the top floor of the iconic Salesforce Tower where more than 90 guests from over 40 law firms and companies joined our panelists for 360 degree panoramic views of the city. The panel featured four legal sector powerhouses discussing the keys to their success and their actionable recommendations on how to improve diversity within the legal sector. After a Q&A session with the audience, the conversations continued during the reception, with the panelists speaking one-on-one with guests while sharing additional insights and personal anecdotes of their experiences as a woman in the legal industry. Complementing the event, Cushman & Wakefield partnered with Dress for Success, a global nonprofit organization that provides professional attire for low-income women, to help support their job search and interview process. Led by 300 volunteers, Dress for Success San Francisco has served over 7,500 women in San Francisco since 2006. Cushman & Wakefield’s effort collected over $15,000 in clothing and cash donations.

I truly believe that it is through the sharing of stories and experiences, that we will turn the dial on women in leadership at all levels of an organization and in our communities. There were great examples of leadership on the panel and it was an honor to hear them as well as members of the audience who were leaders in their own right. Thank you for a truly wonderful and worthwhile event.” – Attendee of San Francisco Women in Law Leadership Event “
