WHAT WE MEASURE Our proprietary Experience Score measures nearly 60 workplace attributes and experience outcomes. The model identifies which attributes drive experience outcomes and breaks down the Experience Score into five distinct key experience segments – Focus, Team, Bond, Renew, and Learn. Employees are vastly more satisfied, engaged, and productive with a better work-life balance when these five key measurable experience outcomes are met:

Focus. Ability for attorneys and employees to feel effective and productive on individual work activities. Team. Ability for attorneys and employees to feel productive as a team when collaborating on cases and projects. Bond. Feeling a cultural fit where workplace unifies people, connects with your firm brand, and builds a sense of community. Renew. Feeling energized and inspired, where you can develop interpersonal connections and sense of collective purpose. Learn. Ability for your attorneys and employees to feel they continuously learn and develop and have the tools and ability to be productive. Identifying the gaps between perception and actual outcomes can drive real estate portfolio strategies and enables law firms to focus their efforts on the areas of greatest impact. XSF provides insights about an attorney’s experience, what’s important to partners, associates, and their clients, and how effective the firm is at delivering. These factors are related to all aspects of your workplace – Physical Space, Technology, Amenities, Services, Location, and Brand & Culture: • Workplace Design. Aligning your physical work environment with how your people work. Concepts such as single-size offices, hoteling, collaboration zones, and more social common areas are now be implemented at law firms as a way to enhance communication and increase space efficiency. • Technology. Providing insights on how technology supports focus, team work, and productivity. Working remotely, increased use of mobile devices, and paperless workplaces are changing the way law firms design space. • Amenities.
