Action Ensure all sharp and broken glass containers are closed with lids and do not become overfilled. Sharps and broken glass containers will be removed by janitorial services as they become full. The container must be sealed and marked as “Non-Hazardous Waste” by QC prior to being removed. For general cleaning performed by QC personnel, document required daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cleanings in the lab cleaning logbook. For equipment, document all monthly and quarterly cleanings in the equipment logbook.

• Mop the lab floors with neutral cleaners or cleaning agents QC personnel will perform the following: • Wipe chairs, cabinets, horizontal bench surfaces, and shelves with 70% IPA or equivalent • Wipe and clean sink and sink area with 70% IPA or equivalent • Clean sample transport containers • Clean balance area (See Section 5.7) • Perform a walkthrough to identify and dispose of all expired materials (reagents, solutions, chemicals, etc.)
