5.7.3.6 After removing the streaks, APPLY sterile IPA and USE the serpentine stroke method with a low-lint wipe. 5.7.4 Manufacturing Sink Drains, Floor Drains, and Waste Ports. 5.7.4.1 DISINFECT sink drains, floor drains, and waste ports by pouring 1 gallon of Spor Klenz solution and follow with an approximately 2-gallon WFI flush. 5.7.5 Mats 5.7.5 .1 CHANGE removable mats daily or whenever visibly soiled. 5.7.5 .2 REMOVE the soiled sheet by gently peeling all 4 corners toward the middle and lifting to form a pocket. 5.7.5 .3 INSTALL mats so that the removal action is toward the less critical area. Flooring areas must be cleaned prior to the installation of a new mat to remove the residual adhesive. 5.7.6 Floors 5.7.6.1 IDENTIFY the disinfection cycle (Level 1,2,3, etc.) per Appendices 2 through 4. 5.7.6.2 DO NOT use a mop head used on the floor to disinfect any other surfaces. 5.7.6.3 MOP from the furthest point of the room moving toward the exit. 5.7.6.4 Mop in one direction with overlapping strokes. 5.7.6.5 INSPECT floors for soil build up. • If build up is found, USE a new mop head to PICK up the buildup. 5.7.6.6 INSPECT floors for residual disinfectant after contact time. • If residue is present or surfaces are slippery, Rinse with WFI until removed. 5.7.7 Mobile Process Equipment (Totes, Carts, Racks), Permanent Process Equipment (Exterior Disinfection), and Horizontal Surfaces. 5.7.7.1 IDENTIFY the disinfection cycle (Level 1, 2, 3, etc.) per Appendices 2 through 4. 5.7.7.2 USE low-lint Wipe(s) for Horizontal Surfaces/Process Equipment. 5.7.7.3 SATURATE a wipe with sterile IPA or Spor-Klenz per Appendices 2 through 4 and USE the wet wipe to APPLY to surfaces. After applying disinfectant, FOLD a low lint wipe in half and then FOLD it in half again to provide at least four (4) clean wipe-surfaces. 5.7.7.4 USE the unidirectional movement pull-lift techniques for wiping down equipment, as illustrated in Appendix 5 Figure 1. 5.7.7.5 ENSURE surfaces are maintained wet during disinfectant contact time per step 5.6.7 5.7.7.6 RINSE with WFI after Spor-Klenz application. 5.7.7.7 WIPE all stainless-steel surfaces with sterile IPA after any Spor-Klenz application and WFI Rinse. 5.7.8 Miscellaneous Surfaces (glove boxes, storage bins, cabinets, trash receptacles, Wet Floor signs)
