4.0 Requirements 4.1 Environmental, Health, and Safety •

Proper PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, and face shields) are always to be worn while working with disinfectants. Face shields are required for any cleaning or disinfection above eye level and whenever a splash hazard exists. • Post Wet Floor signage in the impacted area prior to cleaning or disinfection. • In the event of a chemical or biological spill, immediately notify area manager and EHS. • Review the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) prior to first use of disinfectant. • Maintain rooms that are used for storing janitorial supplies in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion. Replace buckets and wringers if visibly worn or damaged. If any equipment becomes damaged do not use / continue to use and replace. 4.2 Material and Equipment/Tools
