DESCRIPTION & RATIONALE OF PROPOSAL

The system will be deployed at gantries S2, S3 and S5. The tracking of vehicles and visitor registration can be done seamlessly through a single platform, allowing faster visitor registration. The VMS also features a blacklist function to manage visitors of interest. The key index of the VMS can be monitored via a dashboard from the SCC by the Supervisor. The Smart Attendance System is designed to ensure that the management and command centre have access to the attendance record “live”. Security personnel can only register their attendance onsite with the tablet Tracking of Patrol Officers and Fault Reporting, where tasks can be given, and reports can be made on the go. Optimax can be linked with C&W CMMS for centralised control and management for incident reporting and management. Our security vendor will introduce a new method of patrolling using digital detections. Virtual Guard Technology will ride on the CCTV cameras that Sentosa Cove has already in place and provides a framework for active surveillance and reporting. It reduces the physical demands on individual security officers, while improving productivity as the officers can now perform more patrols (virtually), if need be. As the time for patrolling is now more efficient, they will also have more time to attend to more pertinent duties such as responding to incidents.
