Message from Our CEO About Cushman & Wakefield

2023 Highlights

Our sustainability strategy is underpinned by our commitment to strong governance. We strive to operate with the highest level of integrity, and we aim to communicate on our progress openly and transparently. Materiality We conducted a materiality assessment in 2021 in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. Employees, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders provided input via a survey that resulted in the identification of 13 material ESG topics 6 that are central to our firm’s strategy and approach to ESG. Five additional topics are monitored since they were identified as important. This assessment has provided us with direction on how to prioritize different initiatives and allocate resources. As a best practice, Cushman & Wakefield intends to carry out a materiality assessment every few years. For this reason and as a step in complying with the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), we plan to begin our first double materiality analysis in 2024. We also continually seek input from our stakeholders to reaffirm and refine the topics that are central to our strategy.
